They are based on a CD ROM, prepared by Capel Iwan PTA, to mark the retirement of Mr. James in 2004, and celebrate his twenty eight years as head teacher of Capel Iwan School.

Listed as field number 1255, owned and occupied by Henry James and called "Park y Ffynon" (Well field). Listed as un-named field number 1425 of Hendy Farm which belonged to Thomas Thomas and was occupied by Daniel Hughes.
1891 Census Shows occupied by Thomas James (aged 44 - draper & grocer), his wife Sarah (42 - draper - born in Cenarth) and their children, Ann (11), Saurin (7), Alice (4) and Gwilym (1).
All (except the baby) are Welsh speakers.
Hendy listed as occupied by John Evans.
1901 Census Shows occupied by Thomas James (aged 57 - grocer shopkeeper & egg merchant), his wife Sarah (53) and their children, Elizabeth (19), Saurin (16), Alice (13) and Gwilym (11).
All are Welsh speakers but Elizabeth and Saurin are bilingual.
Saurin is shown as an employee working at home.
Unknown At some stage, the property expands to include field 1 Rest of field still part of Hendy Farm

Property ends up owned by Gwilym Marles Ioan James
1970's Property occupied by George and Martha Harris.
They left around 1975
17th. February 1984 Sold by Gwilym James to Sandhurst & Northern District Trustees etc. of 18 View St, Bendigo, Victoria, Australia
26th. August 1986 Sandhurst & Northern, etc., etc. sell to Anthony Christopher & Denise Adele Addison of Oxford
20th. January 1988

They split up and Anthony Addison hands over the property to Denise and moves back to Oxford Whole of field now referred to as "Parc-y-Banc"

24th. August 2001 Outline Planning Permission re-granted for siting of dormer bungalow
18th. June 2002 The Roddas sell to Nigel James and Ann Patricia Batten of Exeter
2021 They are selling to Simon and Christine Nicholas of Tottenham
